H-Bridge using Relay Module

Overview

In this topic,we will learn how to use SPDT relay as as H-Bridge Circuit. H-Bridge Circuit has been widely use to control direction of motors and also actuators.

In this case, Relay 1 will be act as backward switch and relay 2 as forward switch. Relay 1 will be on LOW state where Common terminal and NO (Normally Open) terminal is connected and Relay 2 will be vise versa where its in HIGH state where Common terminal and NO (Normally Open) terminal is connected. Current will flow from the positive power DC power source and run through positive terminal of Actuators or Motors and will give us Forward feedback.

On the other hand, Relay 1 will be HIGH state and Relay 2 will be on LOW State. Current will flow from positive DC Power Source terminal and will flow through NO – C terminal on Relay 2 and run though the negative terminal of the actuators or motors.
